We are a small, female-owned business in Winnipeg, MB

Our owner Danica brings over two decades of experience in a demanding field where she worked long hours and honed efficiency and attention-to-detail. She has always had a creative side, always thinking to find new and vibrant ideas, and loving to plan – projects, parties, events. Danica started As You Wish from her love for candles and the feelings they evoke, a love for collaborating and creating, with a motivation to find that perfect fit for events/special projects, and to develop a collaborative business that allows for more time with her family. As You Wish is the result of a desire for more creativity, more colour, and more joy in both every day and special occasions.

With As You Wish Candle Co., the options are endless! Our aim is for our candles to provide a feeling of comfort and happiness to every recipient and environment. Our retail line bursts with options for both individual candles and collections. The “As You Wish” in our name represents our goal to create just the right fit – for your home, your gift, your event, your business. Our custom order options include over 50 fragrance options and container colours – we are sure to have something just As You Wish!

 

We believe in sustainable environmental practices.

We keep our packaging to a minimum – we limit our use of boxes to our bundles and gift sets. We like to keep the focus on the vibrant candle vessels we use.

We select products that are lightweight and use fewer resources to transport.

We use only 100% soy wax – a clean-burning, renewable plant-based wax (no petroleum-based waxes here!).

Our fragrances are paraben- and phthalate-free.

Our candle tins are reusable, and our wax melt clamshells are recyclable.
